Corporate Bigs

Overview: This is a corporate version of Bigs in Schools. It’s cooperative program with members of a company and students at a local school. In addition to friendship and overall support, it also focuses on literacy and homework help.

Mentees: Kids between 6 and 18 who need extra support with their schoolwork.

Mentor: Anyone over 18 who would like to help a child do better in school

Minimum Commitment: 1 hour per week throughout the school year

Availability: Edmonton, Strathcona County, Parkland County, Cold Lake, Lac La Biche, Morinville, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, & Vegreville.

When: At the same time each week during the school day

Where: At a child’s school or at a corporate office
